The College Connection

The College Connection is a program of Belfast Adult and Community Education that offers high quality, cost-effective and accessible pathways to post-secondary education for adults.  This educational opportunity is presented at the University of Maine-Hutchinson Center campus and connects to both the University and Technical College Systems. Instruction focuses on assisting students with improving their skills in English, math and computer technology as well as providing opportunities to visit a variety of campuses and learning how to survive within the college environment.  

This program is designed specifically for those adults who did not consider attending college right after high school, who now find themeselves needing specialty training, or just desiring an opportunity to be part of the collegiate experience.  However, any adult desiring to attend college may participate.  The program is held every Monday for fiffteen weeks.  A new session begins each semester.

Students are rquired to purchase all textbooks but there is no registration fee.  Attendance is mandatory
