Welcome to the home page of the Belfast Adult and Community Education (BACE) web site.  BACE is a division of Regional School Unit (RSU) #20! Within our site, you can search and browse our full range of courses in five categories, view detailed information about each course, and even register for our courses online.

Learners, visitors and staff  are reminded that the Belfast Adult and Community Education campus is located on RSU #20 property and, therefore, is a smoke free campus.  Many individuals participating in activites at BACE are allergic to strong odors and scents and can become quite ill.  Please refrain from applying such irritants before accessing BACE facilities.  Some examples of strong odors and scents include smoky or unwashed clothing, perfumes, cosmetics and hairsprays.

What about learning on line?  BACE has partnered with Ed2Go, an on-line learning company, to provide educational opportunitites through a wide variety of programs and courses.  The current catalog introduces over 300 courses for your consideration.  You may participate in these courses individually or as part of a comprehensive program.  To view a sample course catalog for Ed2Go, click on Ed2Go Catalog.  You may make all arrangements for participating in Ed2Go classes by clicking on www.ed2go.com/belfastae.

State of Maine GED regulations requre that students complete a preparatory program prior to taking the actual GED tests.  Additional resources for students working to obtain their GED may be found at www.GEDOnLine.com, http://www.studyguidezone.com/gedtest.htm, or http://www.testpreppreview.com/.

Paralegal Tutoring - On Line legal Assistant Study Program 

Midwest Paralegal Studies, in association with BACE, is offering a 12-month certificate of completion.  For program details and questions, contact the instructor, Mr. Zoran Perovanovich via email, zoran1990@juno.com , or visit the website www.paralegalstudies.com.  This professional non- credit program is recommended for those in the legal profession seeking advancement or for someone interested in a career change.  It is open to anyone with a high school diploma/GED.  Each course in the program has a registration fee of $195 that includes all study materials.  The courses may be taken in any order at the start of each class term.
